Broken down jetski and person in the water

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard after reports of a broken down jetski and a person in the water. MILB recovered the casualty from the water and proceeded to tow the jetski back to Trimingham. Mundesley Lifeboat handed over the craft and casualty to Mundesley Coastguard.

Suspected body in water

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard after reports of a body in the water by Norfolk Police. Mundesley ILB proceded to approx. 20 meters off Walcott seafront and discovered that the object was a dead seal.

Search for missing male

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard to assist in the search for a missing male. Happisburgh Coastguard and Seaking 125 had been searching since earlier in the afternoon. Mundesley Lifeboat and Mundesley Coastguard continued the search north.

Shortly after launching the male was found on Happisburgh beach and Mundesley ILB was stood down.

Missing swimmer

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard to reports of a missing swimmer reported to be swimming to the sewer outfall bouy. Mundesley ILB commenced a search from Mundesley seafront to Trimmingham seafront where the swimmer had been found safe and well.

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard to reports of a black and white object floating half a mile off Bacton seafront. Object was thought to be an inflatable. Yarmouth Coastguard requested Mundesley ILB to commence a search to Sea Palling. Nothing was found.

Boat with engine difficulties

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard to reports of a fishing boat with engine difficulties 150 yards from Trimingham bomb slope. Mundesley ILB transfered the three crew to the beach and then towed the vessel to the shore.

People in the water

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard for immediate launch to reports of people in the water off Bacton Gas Site after being blown out in an inflatable. When on scene MILB found one casualty in the water who was quickly retrieved and returned to the beach. After liasing with Ministry Of Defence Police and HM Coastguards it was confirmed that all involved were safe and accounted for. East of England Ambulance Service conveyed all involved to James Paget Hospital for a routine check.

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard to assist with an overdue RIB. Shortly after launching the boat was located and escorted back to Mundesley beach.

Mundesley Lifeboat was paged by Yarmouth Coastguard to a broken down jetski off Walcott seafront. Happisburgh ILB also launched and towed the jetski back to Walcott.

Sunken speedboat

Mundesley Coastguard requested assistance from Mundesley Lifeboat after reports of an overdue speedboat at Trimingham. Once on scene it was confirmed that the boat had been swamped by the high tide. MILB bailed the water out of the craft and proceeded to tow it back to Mundesley.
