Donation From RAF Marham:

On Monday 20th April members from the training squadron at RAF Marham came to the Mundesley Lifeboat Station to present their donation.

All at Mundesley Lifeboat would like to thank the squadron for their continued support.

Flood Rescue Training:

On Saturday 18th October the crew of Mundesley Lifeboat took part in the first phase of Flood Rescue Training, carried out by RIG Systems. This training has given the crew a foundation to build upon for further levels, such as Swiftwater Rescue Technicians.

The Lifeboat decided to undergo specialist training after the tidal surge in 2007where neighboring Walcott was flooded. The lifeboat has already approached Her Majesty's Coastguard and the North Norfolk District Council Emergency Planning Board and it was decided that the service would be declared as a Flood Water Rescue Resource.
